5K!!

Dear Blogger,

I have forgotten that you existed for nearly a year, and only recently remembered.

I did my first 5K today. Ayla made me sign up and she started training 9 weeks ago, whereas I decided to go on with life for 9 weeks. Consequently, Ayla jogged alongside as I walked. Granted, she was going the same pace as me because I walk really fast, but the whole running motion kills me. I finished first among the walkers and we passed 2 girls and 2 guys who started out running, so I felt like I accomplished something. I came in 46th (out of how many I have no idea)

I'm watching Gilmore Girls (as usual) and my favorite quote of the entire show came on "Please remember I am your editor. I'm not your mother or your hugger. If you need love, get a hooker. If you have a problem, find a ledge or a way to deal. My door is never open"

Ok, I think I might be able to shower now, and I probably should since Ryan's gonna be here in less than an hour
