I need a job. Friday is the last day I can sub, but most likely tomorrow will be my last day. Here's the problem: I have 2 weeks of full availability; then 5 weeks that I can work weekends, M,W,F afternoon, but not at all on T,R; then a month of full availability. I don't know that anyone's gonna wanna hire me with such effed up availability.
If I stay home, mom's gonna be home and drive me crazy, and expect me to keep the whole house clean. I wanna see Ryan, but he has to work 10-6 M-F all summer, so all the more reason to get a job to keep myself occupied.
I need to apply for like a million GA positions to try to get one. It'd be nice if I could get one that starts this summer because it'd solve my job needs, and since I'm in classes anyway and already got my loan money (today), it wouldn't change anything except for the fact that I'd be getting paid.
Ok, well I'm hungry, there's nothing but steak in the house, and I don't eat steak. I guess I'll either go get food, or run by the grocery store to grab food to make.

I hear ya. The working world was not made for grad students - I am thinking, "Hm, is it WORTH getting a job for just 6 weeks?" Because if I want to work longer than that this summer, it means no trip home :/ But I bet you could find something with your schedule!!!
