I thought yesterday was gonna be my last day...I got a call at 9:40 today because the guy subbing for one of the math classes at Tennessee High was air lifted to the hospital and they needed someone to take over. So, I got paid for a full day even though I didn't get there til 10:15.
While I was at THS, I got a call from Mrs. Osburn at Vance who asked if I could sub tomorrow. Tomorrow's the last real day of school so I think I can safely say that I won't be working after that until August 10.
On my way home, David called me to ask if I could work Saturday hanging lights. All I have to do is meet David and Dr. Hall in Johnson City on Saturday morning, and Dr Hall's gonna drive us to Big Stone Gap; we hang lights; he takes us out to lunch and pays; he drives us back; and then he pays us when we get back to JC.
I got my loan money check in the bank today. Combining that with the money I've earned over the past week, I'm starting to reconsider working. Maybe I won't work this summer. On the other hand, I'm also thinking about applying to work at Golden Corral because they make killer tips.
