Barbed Wire

First I just wanna say wtf! On my way to my first day of teaching in the class I'm observing, I ran over barbed wire. I wasn't on a cattle road, a dirt road, or even a gravel road. I was on the main hwy between Bluff City and Elizabethton. Now I realize that neither of these are booming metropolises, but barbed wire on the hwy? I pulled to the side of the road, turned off my car, and proceeded to lay in the dirt and gravel in my nice clothes (dress pants and a sweater) and start rummaging under my car to detach the barbed wire from my car. Once I was half under my car and had burned my finger on the radiator, someone stopped to help me. Since I had already detached it from my car and was just pulling it out from under my car, the man grabbed a pair of gloves and pulled it out for me. He had me pull my car forward to make sure it was ok, adn then told me I did a good job, nothing was damaged. I looked at his shirt and realized that he was a car insurance agent. He handles claims for Nationwide (the ones who come out and assess your car on the scene). Then he told me to have a blessed day, and I thought what a great guy. I'm sure he thought I was a total spaz. I lost my ring twice while I was talking to him.
