Post 75

I love that I always have such lofty goals and anticipations, then I get a reality check. Yesterday, I was determined to finish my portfolio, then I realized that even if I did, it wouldn't matter because I couldn't print it until Sunday anyway. I still need to write 7 reflections and an introduction which sounds like a lot but it's really not bad at all. Today, I was going to finish reading my articles and taking notes on them , and then write my entire paper. When I didn't start writing until 6, I figured I probably wasn't going to finish, especially since I didn't write anything from 8:30-9:30. Taking notes on the articles did help with the first section, I just had to figure out how to group the notes into cohesive paragraphs. I've written 1025 words in section 1. Section 1 is a literary summary; section 2 is our analysis of the literature; and section 3 consists of our recommendations for future research. We all got to choose our topics relative to adolescent psychology. I chose early menarche and its correlation to eating disorders in adolescent girls. I actually still find my topic interesting even after spending copious amounts of time reading and writing about it. The whole paper is supposed to be 10-12 pages. I'm shooting for 10 but if I keep going like I have been, I may be approaching 12.

Benji lost 3 teeth today! I'm holding on to them to take to the vet so they can tell me if they all look ok.

Ok, agenda for
Tomorrow: Church, print portfolio stuff, write reflections, SPED Service Learning 2:30-5:30, Write section 2 of my paper.

Monday: Final touches to portfolio, finish section 3 of my paper, read and post for psych, Class 4-6:50

Tuesday: Final touches to paper, Class 4-6:50

Then I'll be finished with everything except finals!!!!!!!!!
