2 months

Today makes 2 months that Ryan and I have been dating. It's funny how it seems so much longer, but so much shorter than that. We know so much about each other because we've been such close friends for so long, but there are so many things that my mom asks me and I'm like I dunno, it never came up in conversation.

Ryan came over for dinner today. We made plans for him to come over after his class was over, but I didn't think it would be over that soon. When he got to my house I hadn't even showered yet, dad still had the vacuum out, and unbeknownst to both of us, Ryan was standing on the doorstep.

Things went well though. I hopped in the shower, dad let Ryan in, and they talked for a little while. I was in and out of the shower in less than 5 min. The 3 of us sat in the living room and talked for a little while, then dad went downstairs. Ryan and I went to my room and hung out for a little while. It was cool being able to just sit and chat with him at home in my room.

I had prepped everything that took a long time, so I made dinner around 4:45 and we ate around 5:30. Sadly, since I haven't eaten anything but that rice (see previous post) in two days, I think my stomach has shrank. I was full after the soup and salad. Everyone said dinner was really good though, even when I asked mom for her honest opinion.

After dinner, we cleared the table and dad did dishes. Then we all sat in the living room chatting for a couple of hours. It was all so natural and seemed like no one felt the need to put on a front. Mom and dad were very impressed with how intelligent Ryan is without being pompous or pretentious about it. We didn't get to kiss because Ryan was afraid I would give him whatever I have, and I hadn't planned on it anyway because I shared his fears. We did get to hug and hold each other alot though. That was definitely what I needed. :-)

Hey, he's a good man. I wouldn't have been anywhere near your house with your previous projectile vomiting :p I mean, I love you, but not that much, ha ha.
