Observations

For one of my education classes, I'm supposed ot observe a high school class. The problem is that the teacher I've been assigned is an excellent english teacher, but isn't certified to teach drama. So she doesn't teach it. That wouldn't be so bad, except she expects me to teach the class any day I'm in there. Also wouldn't be so bad, except I'm taking 10 hrs of grad classes, working 2-3 days a week, and am supposed to be observing. Some of our assignments are supposed to be based on our observations. I can b.s. some of it, but the PBA (performance based assessment) requires me to take down data based on my observations of interactions between the student and teacher when the teacher is teaching. Not exactly the easiest thing to do when your teacher doesn't teach. Oh well, maybe I can make up numbers.

I actually got some homework done today. Nowhere near as much as I would have liked to get done, but at least I've accomplished something. I have 1 question answered and a second question 1/3-1/2 answered out of 6 each response must be 2 pages typed. I simultaneously love and loathe my advanced adolescent psych class. That leaves the one I started and 4 more, then a chapter adn an article to read and 3 discussion board posts to do just for that class. Thankfully none of my other classes assigned an ungodly amount of homework over spring break. Although, I do have a project or 2 in each class that I haven't even begun, and had intended on beginning over spring break. So much for that.

My education class doesn't meet on Monday, so I guess I can plan on treating Monday like an extension of spring break since the only break I've gotten has been from classes. I can't wait til Tennessee High's spring break because I'll be done with observations, I won't be able to work, all I'll have is class 3 days and the speech Praxis. Plus, all of my big projects except one are due the week before THS's spring break so I won't even have to worry about them.

Alright well time to get ready for bed since I have to get up at 6 to work tomorrow. Maybe I'll have better luck getting homework done at school. It worked pretty well last week.
